New CLA House holds community together > Portrait of CLA's artist community living in the Tonle Bassac squatter community
The artistic community within the Tonle Bassac slums is filled with richness and talent, as this picture shows, and the eviction of of the community means that this community may be dispersed and scattered.
With the establishment of CLA House, the three masters will have a place to live and to teach classes even after this forced eviction. CLA House will be a place that can serve as a center for small-scale performances, demonstrations, workshops, all in addition to ongoing classes. Even if the students are scattered, they will have a central place to come back to so that the richness of this community does not disappear.
