Support

How to Help

Your support for Cambodian Living Arts promotes ancient and inventive new arts in Cambodia. It also helps to nurture healing from Cambodia's genocide and fosters economic recovery.

There are many ways you can help. These include your advocacy, volunteer work, and sharing of expertise—but the most straightforward way is through a tax-deductible gift.

Your gift to CLA goes a long way—it only takes $250 a year to support a young artist's basic education, which provides a student an instrument to practice on; recital, field trip, and exchange opportunities; technical training; and a monthly stipend that enables him or her to stay in public school, off the streets, and help with family expenses. $2500 will fund a modest income for a master artist and all the expenses associated with supporting our teachers.

Donations are fully tax deductible under IRS Charter 501(c)(3).

Gifts In Kind

As conditions in Cambodia vary greatly from those in the USA, or other parts of the world, gifts of materials or equipment often cannot be utilized as intended. Instead, we encourage cash donations so our Cambodian collaborators can purchase items locally, which builds their community support in Cambodia.
