Three young filmmakers from Ratanakiri province, MOEUN Ramich, CHEN Socheata and PHOK Rany, will join us to present documentary films that they have created as part of a project led by Bophana Audiovisual Resource Center and UNESCO. All together, 30 young people learned the whole process of documentary film production (pre-production, production and post-production) so that they can now produce audiovisual materials in their own languages, about the lives and culture of their communities. After watching A Tasty Drop, Sound of Gourd and Answers, participants will get a chance to discuss with the young filmmakers on various topics concerning the current indigenous cultural scene in Cambodia, impacts and consequences, and challenges facing indigenous cultures in the future.
