The training focused on building foundational knowledge and practical skills in choreography writing, offering up to 12 Cambodian junior choreographers 36 hours of intensive training led by renowned French contemporary dance mentor <strong>Emmanu\u00e8le Phuon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Following the success of the Chakto program in 2025, which was dedicated to supporting the cultural and creative industries in the fields of film, comics, dance, and music, the French Embassy in Cambodia and the Institut fran\u00e7ais du Cambodge sought to build on this momentum by dedicating a new edition to the performing arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative responds to a strong ambition: to support the development of the Cambodian performing arts, contribute to greater visibility for the Kingdom\u2019s contemporary creative works, and foster the emergence of new regional and international artistic collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From June 5 to 11, 2026, the Institut fran\u00e7ais exploring Phnom Penh\u2019s cultural ecosystem. The work explores internal states like fear, self-doubt, anxiety, and loneliness. Four performers from diverse movement backgrounds draw from personal experiences, using their own movement language.
