It focuses on how festival directors, curators, and programmers select works, and what shapes these choices, including artistic direction, audience context, resources, and institutional priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bringing together Jeff Khan (Asia TOPA: Asia-Pacific Triennial of Performing Arts), Shireen Abdullah (Esplanade \u2013 Theatres on the Bay), Quentin Carrissimo-Bertola (Les Francophonies \u2013 Des \u00e9critures \u00e0 la sc\u00e8ne), and Paul Rondin (Cit\u00e9 Internationale de la langue fran\u00e7aise), the panel gathers festival directors and programmers working across different institutional and curatorial contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The discussion examines how programming decisions are made across different settings, and how programmers balance artistic relevance, institutional expectations, and practical constraints such as resources and production conditions.
